Pistol in hand.
Gliding through the country,
All across the land.

Helper of the weak,
Protector of the poor.
Gentleman of the highway,
Travelling forever more.

Approaching in the distance,
A cart draws near.
He pulls a mask over his eyes,
A suitable disguise.

He stops next to the carriage,
Dismounts his steed.
Looks at her eyes intensely,
She already concedes.

"Just give me what I want,
And I'll keep you alive."
They both ignore this warning,
He reaches for his gun.

He pulls on the trigger,
Spraying green with red.
Drags out two bodies
and he takes what he can.

A bloodthirsty murderer,
A wicked thief.
He rides into the sunset.

He's waiting in the courtyard,
Full of fear.
A face utterly remorseless,
The end is here.

A ring of guards surround him,
No turning back.
He drops from the platform,
The world turns black.
