High Horse 05:13
Your lies corrupt, Our lives corrupt, Do we all look the same? Are we just pawns in your game? You make unjust seem just, You're still deceiving us, Yet you expect out trust? Soon there'll only be dust. Policing the world, You bring death and destruction. Engaging in futile war, Get off your high horse. A struggling nation, Plunged into war. Lives in ruin, Is this what you stand for? Now soldiers roam, Our skies are grey. A nation in stagnation, No changes made today. Waging war, If you don't abide. Destroying innocence, Legal genocide. Rules you impose, On everything. A moral authority, With the wrong priority.
2.
You spread unfounded hatred, Disguised as love and peace. Your theistic views, give you immunity. Defaming others, religious bigotry. You've got a licence to hate, A right to discriminate. Not everyone shares your views, You think your lies are true. You disgrace everyone, Whose beliefs you claim to share. Protecting your faith. Giving no one any care. You've got a licence to hate, A right to discriminate. Not everyone shares your views, You think your lies are true. You think there'll be no consequences, Everyone will just give up and bow down. But you've got another thing coming, You're just afraid of losing your crown. (Aaah) Creating laws to legalise your actions, Preventing counteractions. (Aaah) Pushing resentment, On everyone you see. Indoctrinated, Your mind will never be free. You've got a licence to hate, A right to discriminate. Not everyone shares your views, You think your lies are true.

I warned you all, And yet you ignored me. Said I was blind, I was the one who'd seen. The world's end is closing in, The population engulfed with fear. It's all about to begin, But no-one ever listens to a seer. Haunted by terrible dreams, Visions of a world in anarchy. Things no man should ever see, I watch it as it becomes reality. My life was fine, Until that fateful day. I saw the signs, The visions came my way. Estranged from those I once knew, Preoccupied with the burden of the truth. A message that won't get through, Sometimes I wonder who they listen to. Haunted by terrible dreams, Visions of a world in anarchy. Things no man should ever see, I watch it as it becomes reality. Everybody ignored me, Just look at you now. I offered you a solution, But you all turned it down. When I said I knew, They said I didn't have a clue. Instead of solving the problem, I'm put in a padded cell. Now it crumbles around me, As our lives become hell. When I said I knew, They called me Oracle of Doom I was branded a harbinger, Of things that couldn't occur. Written off as a lunatic, And rushed out of sight. When they called me insane, I had no one else to blame. His condition declines, The visions have worsened with time. He lies awake, Unable to leave this state. Why does no one hear my cries? Every night that passes by I lose a piece of my mind. How can I trust what they say? When they're the bastards that took my life away. Haunted by terrible dreams, Visions of a world in anarchy. Things no man should ever see, I watch it as it becomes reality.

He rides into the sunset, Pistol in hand. Gliding through the country, All across the land. Helper of the weak, Protector of the poor. Gentleman of the highway, Travelling forever more. Approaching in the distance, A cart draws near. He pulls a mask over his eyes, A suitable disguise. He stops next to the carriage, Dismounts his steed. Looks at her eyes intensely, She already concedes. "Just give me what I want, And I'll keep you alive." They both ignore this warning, He reaches for his gun. He pulls on the trigger, Spraying green with red. Drags out two bodies and he takes what he can. A bloodthirsty murderer, A wicked thief. He rides into the sunset. He's waiting in the courtyard, Full of fear. A face utterly remorseless, The end is here. A ring of guards surround him, No turning back. He drops from the platform, The world turns black.

Our known is unknown, No place left to call our home. Smouldering ashes, valleys of dust. Nuclear shadows, remnants of trust. An endless fallout, permanent dusk. Leaving what we know. Searching for somewhere to go Billions die at the will of a few, A path we will never pursue. Leaving what we know. Searching for somewhere to go. Some escape while they can, Others die where they stand. We leave to start again, Our friends have met their end. To life we readjust, While they curse their trust. The blood is on our hands, Will we find somewhere to land?
7.
I thought we'd be fine This decision I made still haunts my mind. Will we make it in time? Let's hope it's worth the grind. Got too much to lose, Too little to gain. We're pieces in a game, Thrown to the wolves again. Our backs against the wall, We will stand tall. Oh, we will not fall, We will win this brawl. He stands in our way Unable to leave this all behind. He'll fight here hypnotised. It's not their choice, to fight. Obey their rules, or get a shot through the head. Recruited to hold the line, Today we fight or today we die. Nowhere to run (nowhere to run!), Nowhere to hide (I said fight or die!) He raised a gun (fire at will!), Think fast or die (make him bleed!) We did what we must, To escape their foul regime. Is this all a dream? Or a nightmare reality? No winners in war, Just wounds that don't heal. A numbness inside, Left unable to feel. Our backs against the wall, We will stand tall. Oh, we will not fall, We will win this brawl.
